Convenient foods are an easy way to quench hunger cravings. There are so many convenient foods that are not going to help in the long run. A bag of chips can be filling but when the energy runs out you may hit a wall, or make you more hungry then you started in less than an hour.
Prep for success. Find recipes for foods that you enjoy and consider prepping ahead to have ready-ish foods at your disposal. A couple of years ago I found this recipe for Jalapeno Cheddar Broccoli Bites. I made a few tweaks so it would be even more easy for anyone to grab, bake, and go. If I don't feel like dragging out the food processor I will chop by hand (less dishes later), and use a medium ice cream scoop instead of flattening and cutting. Once formed they go into the freezer on a sheet tray to be frozen solid, then transferred in a gallon freezer bag to keep frozen. Bake at 400 for about 18 minutes. I don't keep an air fryer on the counter so the oven is our go-to.
Prepping meals may not be an exciting adventure, but you are now prepared with a snack that has fat, fiber, a bit of protein and flavor. Add a fun sauce to make it even more satiating.
